Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! I absolutely love photographing destination weddings and intimate elopements. Whether you’re celebrating in East Texas or across the country, I’m happy to travel to capture your love story. Travel fees vary based on distance and accommodations — contact me for a personalized quote.
Do I need a second shooter at my Wedding?
A second shooter is a wonderful way to ensure every angle of your wedding day is covered — from your partner’s reaction at the altar to candid guest moments. I highly recommend adding one if it's not included with your package.
Will there be a second shooter?
Most wedding packages include a second shooter, but it can also be added to smaller packages if desired. I’ll go over all your options during our consultation to make sure you get the coverage that fits your needs perfectly.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Absolutely — as long as my schedule allows it! Additional time can be added at an hourly rate, which we’ll discuss before we begin so there are no surprises.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens! I completely understand. If you need to reschedule, please reach out as soon as possible. I’ll do my best to find a new date that works for both of us. Sessions can usually be moved with 72 hours' advance notice, depending on availability.
What if it rains the day of my session?
If we’re shooting outdoors and the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule to the next available date at no charge. I’ll always communicate ahead of time and help decide what’s best based on the forecast.
Do I have to order prints through you?
Nope! Every gallery includes a print release, so you can print wherever you’d like. That said, I highly recommend ordering through your gallery — my professional lab ensures the colors and quality match exactly what you see online.
I do however have a professional imaging company if you would like to order professionally printed images through me. You can contact me for more details.
How long will it take to get my images back?
Turnaround time is typically 2 weeks for regular sessions and 4–6 weeks during the busy holiday season. Wedding galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. I take time to hand-edit every image for color, light, and consistency.
Can I post my photos on social media?
Yes, please do! I love seeing your images out in the world. All I ask is that you tag @briannaalvisphotography when sharing — it means so much and helps others find my work.
Will I get all of the images you take?
I carefully go through every image from your session and deliver only the best — the ones that capture genuine emotion, flattering angles, and beautiful light. You’ll receive a fully edited, curated gallery of high-quality images.
*You will NOT receive "RAW" images under any circumstances.
What is a Mini Session?
A Mini Session is a short, themed session offered seasonally — perfect for families, milestones, or quick updates. They’re typically 15–20 minutes long and include a set number of edited images at a lower rate.
Why is a mini session cheaper than a regular session?
A mini session is a time saving way for Brianna Alvis Photography to allow pictures at a lower than normal cost. The travel time, set up, and take down is limited so there for BAP can offer a lower price.
What is included in my session?
Every session includes my time, creative direction, professional editing, and a private online gallery for downloading and sharing your images. Some sessions also include outfit changes or multiple locations — details vary by package.
What if I decide I want more pictures than my package includes?
When available, you’ll have the option to purchase additional images from your session. Individual images are $10 each, or you can choose to upgrade and purchase the entire gallery at a discounted rate.
Please note: extra images aren’t always available for every session, depending on the type and number of final edits.
